This Week: Discovery Green
The park is really working to set itself up as a destination in the downtown area. The organizers are planning lots of activities at the various stages around the park including exercise classes, dance classes, live music and movies. They also have a bocce area, horseshoes, a putting green and this shuffleboard court. The lake has model boats for rent on the weekends and the park has two different restaurants on site. It is exciting to see this new park take shape and it will be fun to watch it grow and develop over the years. Expect a lot more from Discovery Green!
