This Week: The International Festival
The weekend happily ignored the weather prognosticators and I was able to visit the International Festival. The International Festival is a non-profit organization that puts on a massive yearly festival on the streets of downtown. Several city blocks are cordoned off for several weeks as they set up the festival which runs over two successive weekends in April. Each year the festival spotlights a different country or region. This year it was 'Out of Africa'.
