This Week: Spring at the Farm
I love cows. They are such curious creatures and they really are gentle. When I was growing up my family raised and sold Brangus. My grandmother currently leases the land to someone who has these longhorns. I used to scratch and touch the cows in my childhood, but haven't done that with the longhorns just because I'm afraid they might swing their head around. But I wasn't afraid of them or of walking in the pasture with them. Cows really are very curious and will walk right up to you. This guy followed us for a little while.
In other news today and tomorrow my students go to a major competition. This is a very stressful contest with a lot of pressure and expectations. I will be glad when it is over.
