January 18th, 2008 | Saturn V Permalink | Comment (3) This Week: Space Center Houston / NASA The main attraction of Rocket Park is the Saturn V rocket which was used to launch man to the moon. There are three Saturn V rockets on display in the US, but the one in Houston is the only one made up entirely of sections that were intended for space flight. The Saturn V used to sit outside with the Redstone and Little Joe II, but after years of suffering Houston's weather it underwent a $5 million dollar restoration which included a climate controlled building.
