This Week: Hobbyfest
Hobbyfest is held every year at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. It is combined with the Wings & Wheels event that the museum hosts every month as a fundraiser. The air terminal museum is one of my favorite places in Houston yet I hadn't made it to a Wings & Wheels before. I was hosting a meet-up so despite the overcast rainy weather I ventured out. The festival had vintage cars in front, the museum in the middle and planes, music and food in the back, which happens to be the grounds of Hobby Airport. I definitely look forward to going back soon.
This is one of the Coast Guard Helicopters that is based at Ellington Field.
