This Week: View from the Party Boat
In May my campus had an end of the year celebration on a party boat. You can see a picture of the boat here on Flickr. I am not one normally for school parties. For example, I rarely go to the Christmas party, because I'm not really good in big crowds, I'm not a drinker or dancer and it is a little depressing seeing all those people with their husbands and boyfriends when I am so thoroughly single.
But I have a strong affinity for the water so I decided to sign up and I am SO glad that I did. It is now certain. I *LOVE* the water. I love being by the water, looking at water and I definitely love sailing around on the water. I even didn't mind the 'party' part of the boat (the drinking, the dancing, the general carousing). At one point I was at the bow of the ship, feeling the breeze on my face. It was a perfect night.
So this week are pictures that I took from the party boat. I think I enjoyed the party not only for the previously mentioned reasons, but because I wasn't trapped in a ballroom somewhere with only stilted conversation to entertain me. I took pictures or would just sit and watch the scenery pass by. I can't wait until the next one.
